Optimizing the 10-Foot Computing Experience

Intel requested IdentityMine to engage in user research and ideation surrounding optimization of the Intel® Compute Stick's web browsing experience when connected to large displays in a 10-foot viewing experience.

For those unfamiliar with the device, the Intel® Compute Stick "...is a device the size of a pack of gum that can transform any HDMI* display into a complete computer."   The entire team fell in love with the device after familiarizing ourselves with it.

Objective

• Optimize the browsing experience on a 10 foot display
• Experience must be catered to Millenials & 'cord-cutters'
• Solution should be simple & unobtrusive in regards to existing experiences.

Results

• Focusing on the 'browsing experience' doesn't go far enough. Our solution optimizes the complete computing experience for Windows 10 OS on a large screens in 10-foot viewing experiences
